The right way to Draw Squid Sport (Drawing 067 and seven Nice Concepts)

Let’s draw her face first. So I’m going to come right up here and basically draw the bottom of the letter U. So I’m going to go down. Walk right across about here and we’re just going to connect that at the bottom of the curve. So I’m going to try to make it a little more angular. So when I get to the center about here, I’m going to go up a little bit and make her jaw a little bit more square and then go back to where we started and draw a circle on the edge for her eyes.

A nice big circle and the same thing on the other side. but right here towards the edge. and now that my circle is inside, let’s go in here and draw such cute eyes. two little circles inside for highlights and a curved line at the bottom and a shadow at the top and lines at the bottom. and the same thing here, now that the eyes are inside, let’s go in here, we are going to embellish them a little. Just short lashes. Right here, just two curves, nice and simple, and the same here, there. And then from here I’m going to give her a smile. Not really a smile, not really a frown. It’s just going to be like a little straight line. Right here in the center, just a little curve and a completion. I don’t think a smile is appropriate, but I don’t want her to frown.

So just a little line right there, and then we’ll start her hair. So I’m just going to picture it as an oval. And I’ll say about here in the center. I’ll just put myself a point right here. And that’s where I’m going to start drawing strands of hair. That’s close to her eyes. Going down. This is for her bangs. I’ll just start drawing strands back and forth and closer to her eyes. Sometimes another one goes down and it all comes back to the center.

So let’s see another one going this way and another one going down. We just want to mix them up a little bit so they’re not so stiff. And then after we’ve got the center patch in place, I’m going to go down the curve and bring it back to where we started and get out.

Same here, go downstairs and go back to where you started and come out to frame her face. Then, before I forget. I better draw her eyebrows, so about right here, regardless of space, I’m going to come right up here and just draw a soft curve and the same thing on this side. Right here, right through her bangs, bring that down a little bit so it doesn’t get right under that line, and I’m just going to thicken that a little bit.

Okay, and then when you color, you can just give her some freckles on her face and then from there. let’s go right to the center, go up, and I’ll just give myself a line right here where her hair splits and about here. I’m going to stop and draw the top of her head. so go up and up on both sides. then let’s go down this, and I’m going to go in to give her a little strand that pops out and down, so the same thing here, a strand that pops out about right here, in and out.

Before I draw the rest of her hair, I’m going to stop to draw her body first and then finish her hair. so let’s go back here and make her a little neck, right in the center and draw a curve that goes down for the neck. but before I draw her shoulders, I need to draw the collar. So I’m going to go back here and round this part and bring it down to the center to make a little notch and then go back to the neck and draw the curve down. and let’s bring it down a little more and just put the collar right here.

Same here, go around, go out and come back in for the collar and then come back in here, she has the shirt inside. I’ll just draw a curve and another line, some detail. and then we can go on and draw her shoulders. so let’s go out and down right here, so if you use a pencil, definitely just ignore that first and just go on and draw her shoulders first and then put the collar in, okay, so now that we have that, let’s find her armpit area.

Let’s say here and here a little lower and wider because she’s wearing a very loose outfit. and then from there I’m going to bring this down at a slight angle, and let’s keep going down. so it’s nice and baggy, so here I’m going to bring it up a little bit and about here. I’m going to go forward and connect with the sliding sway. and then let’s go down another layer. go in and give it another layer. right here, kind of the cuff area. I’m not sure what it’s called, but the bottom part. and then let’s go up here and draw the center line down for the zipper area there. and now let’s go down and draw it em trainers.

So we go down, let’s say, about here. I’m just going to do a little corner line. And I’m going to go out right here and start her pants, so since they’re baggy again. I’m just going to go ahead and go down and down. So they’re almost slimy. So let’s work on that side first because they’re so baggy. Let’s get this down and as I go down, I’m going to inflate it a little bit. and then bring it right here and connect, same here. inflate a little bit and connect the inflate and connect and right here and just give her a little cuff right here. and then her legs.

So I’ll just really simplify and draw a curve that comes out of her feet. And I’ll just add a curve right here for her shoes. Same thing here, make a little shank and then her feet [Music] there, so we’re done with that part. Now let’s draw her arms, I’m going to bring them down, and again her sleeves are nice and puffy and baggy. So when we go down, I want her arms to be about here, so take that out a little bit and then inside, just like the pants, and right here, just go ahead and connect again, then add a little cuff right here. and then her arm.

So we’ll just put the thumb and fingers, same thing on the other side, so come down and we’ll just target the same area right about here, just like the other side, poof out and in, and then add a little cuff again. i can go a little lower there. and then her hands again her thumb rounds out and is there.

Okay, now a little bit of detail on her uniform. here we have the underarm area. so let’s go over it, we’re going to connect this and make some pleats right here where the underarms are, then there’s this white stripe that goes across the top, we’re going to bring it down, same here, and this on the pants too, before I forget, you don’t have to draw this hard line if you don’t want to, you can just do that when you color in. I want to show you where the colors are different, and some pockets right here on the side. and let’s see, and the most important part is the number.

Let’s go over here and draw a rectangle so there’s a little space left to write the number zero. six seven. but before I do that, let’s draw her hair. first let’s go over here and I’ll sketch some more strands, down here, front to back. And then right here again, draw a few more strands to make it a little messy. I’m going to move in this direction and just taper them here and there, so hopefully I got her hair right and let’s look from here. I forgot, let’s go down here, I’m going to draw a little center line for detail before I forget, and so draw some fold lines right here and let’s see from here.

Okay, now we’re going to write the number 67. Since it’s white, I decided to just paint over that part. Right there, very quickly. Since I have the right color and I’m going to use my white pen here, my white pen here and write the number 67. Hopefully it won’t be too confusing zero six seven hooray. We did it, so I just wanted to show you since I had this white pen to write the number 67. So it’s all done.
