What is Quilling?
Quilling, or paper twisting, is the art of making compositions (flat and volumetric) of spirally twisted narrow long strips of paper. The technique itself appeared in Europe at the end of XIV – beginning of XV centuries. The name came from English: quilling – from the word quill “bird’s feather”. From green paper 3 mm wide twist: 4 free rolls ∅ 8 mm, two give the shape of a drop, in the remaining displace the center; 6 free rolls ∅ 12 mm make in the shape of a drop. Glue the parts.
Twist 7 loose ∅ 15 mm rolls and 3 loose ∅ 10 mm rolls from green paper 5 mm wide. Glue the parts on the left side of the apple.

From yellow paper roll: 3 free rolls ∅ 15 mm, give them the shape of a drop; 4 free rolls ∅ 6 mm, two of them give the shape of a drop; 3 free rolls ∅ 5 mm, two make in the form of a drop. Glue the parts according to the scheme.
